Load Organising With Escondido - 17th Mar 2012 - 18th Mar 2012

Escondido House of Dock with Skydive Choreography, FS load organising with myself and Derrick Kent.

Big moves and funky shapes. If numbers allow we'll be running two groups and it'll be perfect to spring clean off your winter dust and get back in the groove but also to challenge yourself with something you've not done before.

This event is limited to the first 26 people to register.

Feel free to rock up on the day and if there are places you'll be able to join in the next jump however if you want to reserve a slot, pls register here:

March Escondido 'School of Dock' review.

I've been jumping on Brian's events for a while now, but I never know quite what to expect, especially after seeing leg-locks on Facebook! But don't let that put you off, the School of Dock is a fantastic event for novice big way jumpers through to seasoned veterans.

Starting in smaller groups, the Escondido team focus on the fundamentals of bigway skydiving, in a no-pressure, relaxed environment. Throughout the jumps, you are encouraged to try new positions and techniques as the formations get more challenging, but without being pushed outside your comfort zone. By the end of the first day, we had nearly cracked a particularly difficult formation  - a massive result since many of us hadn't jumped yet this year! By the end of the second day, we were building formations quickly and turning points easily - all helped of course by the awesome Hib machine and their uber-fast G92s.

I went back to London with my first jumps of the year, my 400th, a quality weekend's jumping and a smile on my face. The next School of Dock is in mid-April - do it.
